Previous Students Testimonials

I highly endorse Susan's CFA training for any flight attendant transitioning from commercial flying to corporate aviation. As someone with 25 years of experience at Delta and 2 years at NetJets, I decided to pursue contract flying and recognized the need for extra training. After exploring various options and receiving multiple recommendations, I ultimately chose Susan's esteemed training program.During the four days I spent at Susan's CFA training course, I gained valuable insights into the corporate/private aviation industry. With her expertise, I felt confident that I was well-prepared for my first contract trip. What sets Susan's training apart from other options is her ongoing support throughout your career. If you encounter any issues or have unanswered questions, a simple phone call to her is all it takes to find a solution.

Susan genuinely cares about her students and their achievements. For almost three decades, Susan has passionately advocated for the presence of skilled flight attendants on private jets. Her outstanding contributions to this field have earned her numerous accolades and recognition. She is widely revered as a legendary figure in our era, and her training programs are highly regarded across the globe. One of the most remarkable aspects of Susan's training is her natural comedic talent, which never fails to leave her students in stitches with her anecdotes and jokes.

Coming into Susan’s course, I knew absolutely nothing about corporate aviation, and I’m still amazed at how much I learned in just 50 hours. Susan is a true wealth of knowledge, and she shares it in a way that feels genuine, fun, and incredibly engaging. She walked us through everything—from marketing yourself, catering and cabin prep to etiquette and the little details that make all the difference onboard. By the end of the training, I felt confident and genuinely ready to step into the role of a corporate flight attendant. I’m so grateful I had the chance to learn from her; it was an unforgettable experience.

Making the decision to attend Susan C. Friedenberg’s Corporate Flight Attendant Training was one of the best professional decisions I’ve made. Susan’s decades of experience in private aviation shine through in every part of the course — from the depth of her knowledge to the passion she brings for excellence in safety, service, and professionalism.

The training is incredibly comprehensive and real-world focused. Susan doesn’t just teach you what to do — she teaches you why it matters, preparing you to confidently handle everything from high-end cabin service and catering logistics to emergency procedures and crew resource management. I especially appreciated how hands-on the course was, with practical demonstrations and insider insights that you simply can’t find in a textbook.
What sets Susan apart is her authenticity and personal investment in every student. She truly cares about your success and goes out of her way to make sure you’re ready for the world of Part 91 and 135 operations. Her guidance extends beyond the classroom — from career advice and networking to helping you develop the right mindset to thrive as a contract or full-time corporate flight attendant.

If you’re serious about entering the world of private aviation, this training is a must. It’s not just about learning how to be a flight attendant; it’s about learning how to represent the highest standards of discretion, safety, and luxury service.

I highly recommend this intense and comprehensive Business Aviation Training for anyone looking to break into this industry as a Corporate Flight Attendant as a new career choice.

I recently attended Susan C. Friedenberg's Corporate Flight Attendant Training in October - 2024. I was completely blown away. I have taken other training classes, and have experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, but her class is amazing. You don't know what you don't know and there was so much I didn't know, even with the experience I have. I was completely blown away by Susan. She has a wealth of knowledge; experience and she is highly respected throughout the Business Aviation industry. Having been in Business Aviation for the last 35 years, she has flown both full time & contract/freelance for such companies as Coca Cola, DuPont, & American Standard Companies. Additionally, she was a Part 121 Commercial F/A for 15 years, so she “really” gets and knows how to teach commercial people how to make the transition to Corporate Aviation.

Her class was so much fun! She has the best stories of her flight experiences as well as the do's and don'ts and what is acceptable and not acceptable as a Corporate Flight Attendant. What will get you banished and what will get you called back. This information was invaluable.

Her class was so convenient as it is conducted over ZOOM. You have no travel expenses, hotel, meals etc. She ships you a 15-pound box prior to the training with the manual and MANY pertinent handouts. Susan provided me with so much valuable material that I will hold onto and continually refer to it throughout my career as a Corporate Flight Attendant.

She also provided catering menus and information on proper “SAFE” catering handling, local and international trip preparation / customs to emerging market areas of the world when there is NO safe catering for your passengers. As well as where to shop that is so important to our job as Corporate Flight Attendants when providing our guests with not only delicious food, but an amazing meal service as well. Safety is an important part of our jobs as Corporate Flight Attendants and Susan is a huge advocate of proper safety/egress training, SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and CRM (Crew Resource Management).

If you are considering a career in Business Aviation as a Corporate Flight Attendant, I would highly recommend Susan's Corporate Flight Attendant Training class. It's a must. You don't know what you don't know. She’ll tell you…… Check out her website – www.corporateflightattendanttraining.com

And she trains with a great degree of humor as she relays some of her experiences with no ego if she did something wrong. She wants you to learn from mistakes we all make at times.

Susan’s innovative curriculum development (A 450-page manual that we call her Bible) has been instrumental in shaping her effective training. She combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that her students receive a holistic education. Her emphasis on real-world scenarios and hands-on training prepares her students to handle the diverse challenges they will encounter as corporate flight attendants at 48,000 - 60,000 feet.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Susan possesses an innate ability to inspire and motivate her students. I attended Susan C. Friedenberg’s Corporate Flight Attendant Training in September via ZOOM. I was skeptical at first of the ZOOM class, but it not only met... but far exceeded my expectations. The class was five days, eight-hour days of intense learning via her 8 pound training manual, Susan’s fantastic relevant stories, and lots of laughs. The handouts Susan sent us in advance of the training were incredibly informative, helpful and will help navigate my new career.

Susan also had two business aviation veterans/experts participate via Zoom who discussed different aspects of the industry. A corporate aviation caterer and a woman who taught "corporate specific egress" training for FACTS Training for many years. They added a great deal to the mix. I am excited to embark on my new journey and Susan, my friend and mentor, is a phone call away.

Susan, her manual, and this training will take you on an absolute adventure. Between her hilarious humor, insightful stories, and specific notes on how to excel in this industry, the hours will fly.

In these weird and bizarre COVID times, I truly appreciate Susan being creative and flexible enough to find a way to do socially distanced trainings. Even though I was in the comfort of my own home instead of a classroom, I still feel like I got full, comprehensive training. Do not be discouraged by Zoom! If anything, it allowed for a more personal connection for all of us because we were welcoming each other (initially strangers, now friends) into our homes.

As for the training itself, in just a few days I went from clueless to professional. "'The Manual" Susan sends is a Corporate Flight Attendant BIBLE. Everything you need to succeed is in this manual. You will feel confident enough to fly after Susan's training (and a cabin Safety Training!), guaranteed, but your relationship with Susan will not end there. She will absolutely be there to guide you even after your course ends. Susan brings such an animated, fun spirit into the classroom, you will be captivated the entire time! She is full of the craziest stories that are also incredibly insightful and will help you be a better Corporate Flight Attendant. Susan's training is fun, informative, and empowering. She speaks incredibly well of other people in this industry and the guests who join in can attest to that. (A pilot and an aviation caterer.)

If you are looking into this industry, reach out to Susan to begin this incredible journey!

Susan’s training was a transforming experience for me. I learned so much in such a short time. The 5 days flew by. Her knowledge is unsurpassed in the business aviation industry, her training explains the industry, standards and much more. She teaches all the necessary skills to be able to be confident and a knowledgeable flight attendant. Her attention to detail and safety are so relevant in the industry... it’ll either make you or break you. She is an excellent teacher and brings passion, humor and vigor to her classroom. I left her training feeling ready for success and a confidence I didn’t have before.

You are never alone, Susan is always an email or phone call away… she is invested in her students, during class and after…it doesn’t stop after you leave. I recommend her training for anyone who wants to become a Corporate Flight Attendant or anyone who is coming from the commercial industry, the two are very different. I’m so grateful to have taken her training, it has been one of the best investments that I could possibly do for myself and my career.

Susan C. Friedenberg’s Corporate Flight Attendant Training and Consulting course was highly recommended to me by a friend who was a corporate pilot. I jumped at the chance to take her 45-hour Corporate Flight Attendant training course (via Zoom) to learn from the best in the industry.

Susan was such a delight, and she made the training incredibly fun! To prepare for her class, she sent me teaching materials and a meticulous manual that she has written herself. 17.4 POUNDS of training materials! Susan teaches by example, and anyone can look her up and see her notable flying career with numerous companies. She takes her personal experiences, her successes, and her failures, and she is not afraid to use those moments as teaching illustrations - lessons.

Her dedication to the industry and to her students is evident in the level of detail she has spent creating this exceptional course for those individuals learning how to become the safest and the most professional corporate flight attendant they can be. I feel empowered by the knowledge I have gained concerning in-flight safety measures, delivering a superior meal service while implementing BEST PRACTICES, ordering detailed SAFE catering globally, and marketing myself in an extremely competitive industry.

Specifically, for me, I found it most valuable to do real world examples and scenarios. Susan was always there to teach and guide me through these different situations. She is there for you AFTER the training to mentor - coach you.

The standards she sets are high and her training is intense and thorough. There were no details spared during the course, and I feel confident that the education she gave me is relevant and valuable to my career in corporate aviation. And her training is respected and known all over the Business Aviation commumity.

"Training with Susan via ZOOM was a delight! I had targeted to do her training for over 2 years and to take her masterclass was indeed the right decision. I was wary of the value of training online via ZOOM at first, but from day 1 it felt almost like we were in the classroom as it was very practical and felt like an in-person training.

It was intense in terms of new information - but also enjoyable as she linked this information with her experiences in Business Aviation. And it was FUN.

She is an expert in Business Aviation and her dedication shows! I have been flying private for some time, and I still learned lots of new things that I was not previously aware of. In addition, I found it highly empowering to master the art of contracting too, lots of tools and resources were provided.

I would like to highlight that she sent -by post- an awesome pack of goodies, which are to be used to start or complete our onboard kit. And that manual! WOW.....it is AWESOME. I am beyond grateful for her sharing her knowledge and experience and will always recommend her training to both new and seasoned CFA'S ! :)"

To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to share with you the work that Susan Friedenberg has done for m y company's flight operations. For many years we operated turboprop aircraft and light jets. When we decided to purchase a large-cabin Challenger I felt somewhat out of my element. I was concerned with how best to equip the passenger cabin taking into consideration the aircraft's capabilities. Imagine my surprise when we accepted the aircraft at the completion center and the only items aboard were manuals and a roll of toilet paper. I quickly decided I needed assistance and remembered seeing some online posts recommending Susan's services.

I contacted Susan and we spoke extensively about my company's missions, aircraft configuration, etc. Within days Susan drove to our location so she could see the aircraft in person and take pictures and measurements of all the drawers and cabinets. When she was finished, Susan reviewed her notes and made recommendations on the items
we needed and quoted a price. I approved for Susan t o commence work and she began immediately.

All of the items that Susan purchased for our aircraft were functional, beautiful, and of high quality. Some might think that it's difficult to accomplish that without spending large sums of money. Susan did make purchases at Bloomingdale's and Crate and Barrel. However, she also made good use of the many outlet stores in our area as well as discount stores such as TJ Maxx and Ross. The entire project from initial phone call to completion took less than
one week and was under-budget.

When my CEO came onboard the airplane after Susan had finished he was stunned by the work she had done on our behalf. He was thrilled with how each item was so well thought out and important to making the travel experience even more pleasant. For example, there were spare reading glasses (important for the person that always seems to misplace them), basic medicines, toiletries for both men and women - even high thread count sheets and the down pillows that the CEO prefers. The galley set-up is as comprehensive as the cabin. We have items that I would have never thought of until it was too late. Again, everything purchased was high quality but not overly expensive.

In closing, I feel that Susan's services were an invaluable resource to us while transitioning to our new aircraft. I challenge anyone to find an individual more dedicated and passionate about her profession. If you determine that your organization requires services such as those Susan provides then 1am positive she will exceed your expectations.

Educational Speaking Engagement (Two Hours)

Recently, we had the pleasure of having Susan speak at the Aviation Safety Committee conference in Charleston, SC. Susan is an engaging presenter who genuinely cares and is very passionate about her topic.

When it comes to educating folks on the proper handling of food and catering in the Part 135 world, no one knows the subject matter better than Susan. She provides real world examples of what not to do along with the best practices for any operation that we all should be incorporating into our charter operations. Susan also provides in depth training for business aviation flight attendants as well that covers much more than catering and food safety. She is committed to having "corporate specific" egress training for anyone in the back of a private
jet. It was a great opportunity for our group to learn from one of the best experts in the business.
